The Metamorphic team was split this past week with some of us staying in Seattle to plan the launch of our new camouflage printed Ultra Totes and others across the pond working in London and Paris. The Paris weather this past month was the wettest on record since 1960. The dangerous rising waters brought with it rivers of garbage, mostly plastics, further polluting a city struggling with damage control. The ‘river of garbage‘ photo is a shocking visual, reminding us to reduce our single-use plastics. It takes an environmental crisis to remind us that our plastic trash is never truly eliminated.
Our hearts go out to those residents that have had to evacuate their homes, to a beautiful city that houses priceless works of art, and to the rescue workers tirelessly managing the wreckage the floodwaters are leaving in their wake.
