As we come to the end of a great year for Metamorphic, we have been reflecting on some of the moments that have made us proud to be part of a Seattle-based team that innovates and creates stylish, upcycled bags and accessories.
Our drive to create a company that is earth minded and forward thinking while always maintaining its integrity has attracted a team of like-minded folks and we are so happy when others take notice! Valerie Stimac, a travel blogger featured us as one of the Top 5 places to shop in Seattle. She has previously been published in Lonely Planet, Yahoo Travel and AFAR. On a recent assignment for Parachute, MapQuest’s online magazine, she wrote a piece about spots to shop local for the holidays and included Metamorphic Gear.
Thanks so much Valerie and thanks to all of you for making this year our most successful yet!
For the Recycling & Bicycling Adventurers
Founded on the premise that what we deem “useless” materials often just need a little transformation, Metamorphic Gear creates one-of-a-kind bags and other accessories using 75-98% upcycled materials like tarps, sails (from ships!), and used rope. Often in technicolor combinations, daily use isn’t likely to wear them out, making them perfect for those on your shopping list who love cool, useful products, and also want to feel good about the environment.
